The Human Rights were created in 1948. The respect and protection of each country are the main reasons of its creation.
The human rights can be divided in six categories:
The Security rights which concerns the protection against crimes such as murder, massacre, torture and rape;
The Due process rights which concerns the protection against abuses of the legal system, such as imprisonment without a trial, secret trials and the extreme punishments;
The Liberty rights which protects freedom in aspects such as belief, expression, association, assembly and movement;
The Political rights which protects the liberty to take part in politics through actions such as communicating, assembling, protesting and voting;
The Equality rights which guarantees equal citizenship, equality before the law and nondiscrimination;
The Social rights which requires the education to all children and protects against the severe
poverty and starvation;
One of the european organisations with the aim of ensuring human rights, assure democracy and support freedom was The Council of Europe, the oldest one which was responsible for the European Court of Human Rights and the European Convention on Human Rights.
The European Union has the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European - a Human rights document. Besides that, European Union also has the European Court of Human Rights designed to deal with cases brought by individuals.
Africa Union provides the African Commission on Human and Peoples' Rights, conceived to protect Human and collective rights, in order to respect single complaints, but, unfortunately, there are many countries in Africa that blamed human rights violations by the international community.
In Asia there aren't any organizations of solidarity for Human Rights which is a goal still far from being beaten. There are no Asia-wide organisations or conventions to promote or protect Human Rights. Countries vary widely in their approach to human rights.
The main aims of The Organization of American States and The Inter-American Commission on Human Rights are: the human rights protection, the fight against corruption, a sustainable democracy, the implementation of peace and the rights of native people.
About Oceania, and despite all the efforts for the institutionalization of organizations for human rights, there are none of them, yet.
As a conclusion we can emphasize the whole meaning of the creation of the Human Rights, with a quote from Dalai Lama: "All human beings, whatever their cultural or historical background, suffer when they are intimidated, imprisoned or tortured. We must, therefore, insist on a global consensus, not only on the need to respect human rights worldwide, but also on the definition of these rights for it is the inherent nature of all human beings to yearn for freedom, equality and dignity, and they have an equal right to achieve that."
Then, we can assure that without Human Rights we would probably live in a most problematic world, where the suffering and humiliation would reign.
